Hello, I’m Diana. I’m from Vancouver, BC and I blog about what I cook for fun! I started this blog in January of 2014 when I was living in Moose Jaw, SK, hence the name, but am currently living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with my husband Rock and our 2 kids.
I spend a lot of time thinking about what I’d like to eat next and that wasn’t so great in a place like Moose Jaw where we had pretty limited dining options. I had always enjoyed blogging about travelling and living abroad and so I decided to start this blog as a bit of fun and to motivate myself to experiment and cook new things. Rock soon joined in and has since fallen in love with baking. We post both original recipes (usually when I want to recreate something that I’ve eaten before exactly) as well as recipes we find from our ever growing collection of cookbooks or from online. I occasionally toy with the idea of taking nice staged photos of our food with good lighting and my proper camera but since we’re cooking to eat, I usually just take photos with my iPhone. We wanna dig in!
Initially, I thought it’d be great if just some of my friends and a few interested people in Moose Jaw would read this blog. But now we’ve had visitors from over 85 countries (!!!) and have people checking out this blog every single day! I hope you enjoy our blog and any comments, meal ideas, or tips are more than welcome!

Whoa. After searching for Tommy burrito I came across your website. I live in Moose Jaw now, but used to work at a Steamrollers in Vancouver. Ate the Tommy like 3-4 times a week and NEVER got sick of it. Still make them all the time at home!
Another Vancouver-Moose Jaw transplant! I really, really miss all the food back home. LOVE the tommy burrito!
